It was a hot, yet breezy night. You didn't want to spend all day at the hideout with the rest of the group, so you took this chance to walk around the area while the streets are still deserted. As you were walking by, you spotted Konoha up under a shining street light, looking around in all directions as if he were lost.
You approached Konoha and tapped his shoulder. “Konoha, why are you out here alone? I thought you were going to stay at the den with the group.”
Konoha gazed into your eyes and faintly smiled. “(Y/n)..” He mumbled with a worried look in his eyes.

W-what’s going on?

You opened your mouth to say something, but he quickly cut you off. “I was worried for you.” He softly muttered.
“Oh..okay.” you paused. “But I already told you guys I was going out for a walk before I left the den..” He didn't say anything and hung his head. “I don’t like it when you’re alone at night.”
Only the sound of painful silence remained between you two for a couple of seconds. You stepped closer to Konoha and pulled him into a hug. Shocked, Konoha didn't do anything at first..but then he wrapped his arms around you and rested his forehead against yours.
The two of you stood under the street lights in each other’s arms for what seemed like forever, but you two eventually broke apart and the windy breeze replaced the space between you and Konoha.

You had no idea what to say by this point. Why the hell am I so awkward!? You sighed and stuffed your hands in your pockets.“I-I think we should head back. We might worry the group if we stay out here for too long." Konoha nodded and you headed back towards the den by his side. On the way back, nobody spoke a word, and the only sounds that were made was dead leaves crunching under the soles of your shoes and faint yawns escaping from your lips due to exhaustion. Along the way, Konoha noticed a couple kissing by the window of their apartment room. He gently shook your shoulder and pointed at the couple.
“(Y/n), what are they doing?” he cocked his head to the side with a clueless expression on his face. You glanced up and immediately started to blush red.
You sighed and hesitated to answer his question. “Um...they’re k-kissing..” you stuttered. Even more confused, he gazed into your eyes. “What’s kissing?”

‘I can’t believe I’m actually answering these questions,' you thought.

“I-It’s what two people do when they love each other.” Your heart raced faster and you started blushing even more by this point. You continued to walk ahead towards the den, then Konoha gently placed his hand on your shoulder and spun you around. Before you got the chance to open your mouth to say anything, you felt his warm lips press against yours.
